Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they went to in Hamburg. They realized at the time that they were a perfect match. Ashley was 17 years old and hadn't had any type of romantic relationship and was very cautious about everything. But it was truly love at first sight. Ashley really wanted to do a wooden folk themed wedding to symbolize Andrew and her. They incorporated their favourite things to create the perfect wedding. Ashley's family owned 40 acres within their backyard. Ashley knew the entire region, having explored it and even played on the land. Andrew and Ashley were also at the location many times before they started dating. The groom and bride did most of the DIY work which is why personalizing it is essential. Andrew Ashley's father and Andrew designed the arch for the ceremony and seating, while Ashley was in charge of painting and making decorations.
